To expand its leading technology position in emergency telemedicine communications, LifeBot is combining its patented technologies with DREAM to deploy the most powerful and advanced prehospital EMS communications systems.

As a highly developed ambulance to hospital EMS system, DREAM delivers fully interactive simultaneous “live” transmissions of video and critical patient data, thus providing doctor and nurses with a virtual telepresence that allows participation in real-time life saving and disaster management process, whether on the ‘battlefield,’ home or abroad.

Lee Heath, CEO and founder of LifeBot, has been awarded 31 patents in the past and is popularly known as the inventor businessman of the modern Automatic External Heart Defibrillator (AED). LifeBot’s first fully digital VOIP telemedicine communications workstation has been deployed in hospital Emergency Departments and 911 dispatch call centers, and  will serve as the ideal launch-pad for the DREAMS technologies providing control of radio, telephone, cellular and broadband communications. As per an agreement signed with Avia Health Informatics (News - Alert), LifeBot is planning to include Avia’s Odyssey nurse teletriage software within its communications workstation system so as to deliver significant and safe reductions in non-emergent transports, resulting in savings of millions of dollars for major metropolitan EMS providers.

By leveraging this integrated solution, the DREAMS advanced EMS system can substantially lower overall provider costs along with increased level and quality of emergency patient care.  Additionally, LifeBot is also planning further design enhancement by leveraging leading technologies developed by Bosch, Hewlett-Packard (News - Alert) and Clearwire.
